There have been massive protests again in Israel demanding the immediate release of prisoners held by Hamas. Thousands of people gathered in the capital Tel Aviv on Saturday (February 17). Earlier, the relatives of those held by Hamas have protested against the inaction of the Netanyahu government.
They also claim that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has failed because the hostages have not been released. They joined the protest holding Israeli flags, placards and pictures of missing relatives. 253 hostages are said to be held by Hamas. A short-lived ceasefire in November saw Barojo release a little over 100 hostages. Many are still missing.
