Russian mine attack on cargo ship in Black Sea


A Russian mine hit a cargo ship in the Black Sea. The information was given by the Ukrainian authorities on Thursday (November 28). BBC news. Two crew members of the Panamanian-flagged vessel were injured in Wednesday's mine attack. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Ukraine. The ship was on its way to a port on the Danube with grain.

Authorities said the ship lost control after the mine exploded. The upper part of the ship caught fire. They also said that an operation is underway to take the ship to port for repairs. In addition to Ukraine, Russia has recently stepped up its attacks on shipping infrastructure. However, Russia has not yet claimed responsibility for the attack on the cargo ship.
