Delhi covered in fog, 110 flights cancelled

 

Visibility is close to zero in Delhi, the capital of India, due to dense fog. 110 flights were canceled in the city. Traffic is severely disrupted. News from Deutsche Welle, Reuters. Multiple vehicles collided on Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. One person died and 12 people were injured in the incident.

On Wednesday (December 27) morning, Delhi and its surrounding areas reached a distance of 50 meters. Visibility drops to 25 meters at Indira Gandhi International Airport. 25 trains of the region arrive late than the scheduled time. The truck rammed into a house on Bareilly Sultanpur Highway. The minimum temperature recorded in the capital on this day was 7 degree Celsius. Earlier, a red alert was issued in northern India on Tuesday (December 26) due to dense fog. Heavy fog hit Punjab, Haryana,Also Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
